Everyday racism and discrimination faced by international students in the Netherlands, interview with Metropolis M. Interview was published in the hardcopy version and the stories of 8 international students were published online, both in issue September 2022.

This research consists of 8 conversations with ex-students and their struggles in the Netherlands. This article makes visible mutual vulnerabilities faced by international students and sheds light on the lack of supportive structures in place to accommodate adequately for international students. Their stories can be a telling of not being safe, exhaustion and feeling excluded. They are intimate moments of sharing whilst also providing a sharp critical analysis of the struggles international students endure. Length of introduction and stories are 20,400 words.
